I have a friend in my biology class who is from a devout Hindu family though is herself functionally agnostic, I’m a bit worried for her but I don’t know if it would be mutar for me to pray for her given that she has done avodah zara by participating at least passively in Hindu rituals and presumably hasn’t done teshuvah for it. Is it okay if I daven for her nevertheless?
