In what ways do Jewish laws conflict with US laws?

I referenced a modern US story that triggered this question but shouldn’t have as that’s not allowed and I don’t want to talk about that anyway, so this is a repost.

Are there many Jewish laws that conflict with US laws? Either things that are permitted by Judaism but not by US law, or the other way around? Not just about same-sex marriage but about anything. One obvious one I can think of would be kashrut.

I know this is heavily affected by many factors so I’m looking for discussion more than absolute correct answers, of course. For example, denomination of Judaism or personal interpretations obviously affect this a lot.
