In Rabbinic Judaism, what gave Adam the ability to speak compared to a golem?!?!?

Was it “the breath of life”, considering it says he became “a being”??? I ask, because nephesh(נֶפֶשׁ) has etymology to the Proto-Semitic word “napš” which has connections to the Akkadian word “napištum” meaning throat…. and, we know speech comes from the throat area
