I’m a jew by choice and became a jew through the conservative movement last year. I’m so proud to be jewish.
I don’t care about the judgement I get from my southern baptist family. I don’t care about the “not a real jew” argument I occasionally face from my own community. Judaism completes me, I didn’t feel whole until I came out of the Mikvah. I will never forget the feeling the first time I held the Torah. I image my jewish ancestors who came to the US and were forced into christianity to stay safe are proud of me as well.
That’s all 🙂
