if i’m not practicing judaism can i still wear a star of david?

hi everyone! i’m ethnically jewish, but do not actively practice judaism (i don’t practice any religion if that is important). as of recently, i’ve been attempting to get more involved with my jewish heritage, and i was wondering if this was offensive? thank you all, and please be honest 🙂
