I was raised Messianic when I was young, and after 18 years of not truly identifying as any specific religion, I want to learn more about Judaism to see if it would be right for me.

After many religions, when I was young, Messianic Judaism stuck with my mom the longest and was most of my religious upbringing (somewhere between 7 to 9 years).

Looking back and after researching as I’ve gotten older, I’ve realized what I learned growing up (which was all taught to me by my mom) is essentially a mix of the two (pretty sure everything she knew was what she learned on her own via books or dial up internet eventually lol). After reflecting, I really don’t identify as Messianic, but align with more of the traditional beliefs because of the mix of what I learned.

I’m married and my husband has never had interest in observing any religion and I have no intention of pushing him at all. It’s a journey that I have no issue going on by myself, but I have no idea where to start….

Any advice is appreciated 💕
