I think I might be late to ask but why are Jews blamed for Communism?

I absolutely despise Communism and Socialism, not only because of the amount of suffering its caused but also because its oppresion of religious people. It really annoys me (like any other form of Antisemitism) that we are blamed for being behind communism.

I never really understood why we are blamed for it. I know Trotsky was a Jew, but he hated his religion. Also, Karl Marx was a massive antisemite. Not to mention the treatment of Jews under the Soviet Union. It just doesn’t make sense.
