I have a very big question

my father is jewish but my mother is not, and I know by jewish law that makes me not jewish. I was never raised jewish and my father split with my mother when I was really young. But I’ve always identified with the jewish side of my ancestry and greatly respected it, along with doing a fair amount of research on Judaism in general. Recently I had an internal revaluation that I wanted to live the rest of my life jewish, that I wanted to raise my kids jewish.

Would the jewish community welcome someone like me? Is there a place for me?
