I am a jew with a non Jewish mother

Hello, my father was Jewish (who passed away) and I was raised by my mother who was a Christian. I never had anyone to offer me a Jewish connection, for my whole life I’ve slowly drifted away from Christianity to put this in different terms it just never felt like home? But when I see our people (if I’m even allowed to say that) I feel more at home, and the sacred truths feel right. It all just seems to make sense to me, I want to pursue being a real Jew but I have no family to show me the way. So where can I start on exploring to becoming a Jew? I do understand that being a Jew of a Jewish man adds difficulty to becoming a Jew rather than having a Jewish mother.
