How was the Torah written (for knowledgeable jews not snarky athiest)

I’m curious what Jewish sources say about how the Torah was written. I’m not going ask who wrote it because obviously Moses and Joshua (for the end of duetoromemy) wrote it. Just curious I only want jews to respond thank you.
