How was india saw in middle age Jewish sources?

How was Bharat/India described by older Jewish sources? (I know that the contact was limitated but some jewish merchants/travellers met Indians and Indians jews and share the informarion with their comunities in europe and MENA), i ask since Dharmic India was a peaceful area for their Jewish comunities were they werent discriminated, and wanna know more info about Jewish Indian comunities in older times, thank you all for any answer you can tell me 🙂
