There is a chipmunk that has been coming to my patio every time I eat there lately, and I’ve made a point of feeding him. He eats from my hand and keeps coming back. I think he likes it because he lets me pet him each time.
Having him crawl to me each morning, feeling his fur and seeing how much he enjoys the little seeds I give him really makes these scary times a little more bearable.
How can I express my appreciation for this chipmunk, and for God’s allowing us to have this connection? He’s sort of a pet but also sort of a wild animal!
