Being that I live in an area (of Canada) where kosher wines are a bit on the pricier side with not as much selection, it can be a bit expensive. I was thinking of buying some by the case and just have a bottle once a month. On regular Shabbatot when I say kiddush, I use grape juice (watered down with some 40% soda water). Thankfully kosher grape juice keeps for a long time after opening.
Do you open a fresh bottle of kosher wine every Shabbat? Do you drink grape juice on some Friday evenings?
