The person who ran my shul’s annual gala dinner is retiring and we’re facing a vacuum of leadership when it comes to dealing with it. It’s a huge amount of work to coordinate that earns a large portion of our operating budget. No one else wants to take it on and I totally get why – but what’s can we do instead?
