How do you picture God?

Its a pretty fundamental tennet of religious Jewish belief that God has no corporeal form (one of Maimonidies’ Q3 Principles of Faith), but I mean, that’s kind of a hard concept for us physically beings living in a physical world. Especially for an Entity we so heavily anthropomorphize and humanize.

So, what do you picture? Any images in your head from when you were a kid that lasted? I’ve got a few – empty throne in a room around the High Holidays, an ethereal whispy collection of lines of light vaguely humanoid in shape with Books that get written and sealed with our deeds, etc etc.

(I’m not asking for textual evidence or answers, rather personal thoughts or images that I assume people have, even if we know its made up)
