How do we feel about merchant of Venice?

I recently got invited to see the play by a friend and have mixed feelings on it. Shilocks ending speech is very powerful but the play was used for Nazi propaganda. Just wondering how other Jews feel about this play or other antisemetic works of art that some how manage to stick around throughout h the years.
