did they convert or intermarry? I know that they are one of the oldest Jewish diasporas there are and many fought against the Arab supremacy of the caliphates (together with Muslim Amazighs)

btw I am asking this because apparently, I had a few Amazigh jews great granduncles who still spoke Tamazight in addition to Morrocan Arabic when they came to Israel
