How can I honour Holocaust rememberence day?

I am not Jewish but I want to honour Holocaust victims this year on April 18. Some ways I have brain stormed is hanging up a poster on my window saying something like “Never Forget“ light a candle as well. Is using Jewish Symbols okay for these purposes or is that inappropriate? I do not want to be inappropriate in any way. Ps-I apologize if this isnt the correct forum for this question. I know it isnt my space.
