Help with Judaeo-Futurist Sci Fi

I’m writing a sci fi novel about a group of Jews who leave Earth to settle on another, uninhabited planet. The story takes place a millennium after colonization, with no ongoing contact with Earth. Needless to say, the inhabitants’ habits and beliefs have changed a lot over the centuries. One of the ongoing themes is questioning whether they are still Jews and what Judaism means on a different planet.

My question for you all is:

What aspects of Jewish life and culture are the colonists likely to retain? Or, in other words, what aspects of culture would immediately, indirectly tell you that the colonists are descendants of Jews?

This could be religious rituals, or secular traditions, or Yiddishisms, or general world outlook, etc. etc. I’m very curious of what people thing and appreciative of any input =)
