Help to clarify the 7th commandment

Hello everyone. I’m not Jewish but I’m very intrigued by one topic about the 10 commandments. The 7th talks about adultery and we know for a fact that the penalty for that is stoning or burning. Is there anyone that can explain to me how that stoning worked when the respective person was pregnant? Did they kill the mother with the child in their belly? Or did they wait for the child and then stoned the mother for her sins? I know for a fact that Elohim says that the father is not responsible for the sins of the son and vice versa. So, does anyone know how did that go?

Please, I need an answer from someone that is actually intellectually honest with me regarding that point. Someone that understands the Torah and the Talmud. Ty guys.
