Help me find an expert…

Background: I enjoy foraging wild plants fruits and mushrooms

Problem: there are few if any of these plants discussed in the “bug checking methods“ published by reputable kashrus organizations, and regardless there’s a strong possibility wild harvested produce would be more prone to bug infestation than farmed

My gut: my gut says most authorities would advise me against eating such things, but obviously I’d very much like to, and even those who are experts in halacha are likely not experts in foraging/ bug prevalence and proven methods of bug removal/ testing in these plants

Seeking: so if anyone knows someone in their community, a orthodox Torah authority, open minded within the bounds of halacha and we’ll versed, trained and experienced in both wild plants and the kosher standards of vegetable checking, please DM 🙂
