So my good friend from college asked me to be in her wedding and of course I said yes to being a bridesmaid. Her wedding is this weekend in a Catholic Church and I have no idea what to expect. I feel uncomfortable being in there and I have no idea if they are going to expect me to do communion and take a bite of the body by way of an unkosher cracker? I know there is a mass but I don’t know what that means.
What are the differences in the role of a bridesmaid in a Catholic wedding vs a Jewish wedding?
