Hay (letter) question

Hebrew speakers, my family (American reform Jews) has been contemplating a tatto for the five of us. Something like five tick marks, Roman numeral V, etc.

My parents proposed a hay, as the 5th letter and the traditional way of counting 5.

My thought is that tattoos in foreign languages (we know religious and conversational Hebrew but not fluent by any means) aren’t usually a good idea.

Is there an alternative meaning to hay that we should be worried about? Other than like, “the”?

Btw, not interested in discussing the validity of tattoos
