So I just saw the (Conservative) mohel and he was explaining to me the purpose and history of the ceremony then he said he was going to read the blessing, so I thought he just wanted to read as part of an explanation but it was the actual blessing…about a paragraph long.
Was I supposed to say Amen after the Hebrew blessing? Does it count if I didn’t say anything?
He read it in English afterwards after a few seconds and I said Amen.
He didn’t say anything so I assume everything was kosher.
