I noticed in a Art Scroll book I have Hashem is used instead of The Lord which is used in my JPS Tanakh translation Study Bible as well as various Koren books I have. My understanding is that Art Scroll is prevalent within the Orthodox Community in North America whereas Koren more common in Israel. Does the choice of words just reflect the publishers sensibility or is it a wider reflection of the Jewish Community that it tends to serve? Thanks.
