I am currently in the process of applying for German citizenship. We have the proper documentation for proving ancestry (that fled Shoah) and are working with the nearby consulate.
Has anyone done anything similar? I am wondering on the timeline for this. While not urgent, it would be comforting to have an idea of how long this takes on average (i.e. months, years, decades, etc)
