Hanukkah Decorations/Purchases?

I did a quick search but didn’t see much: how do you all decorate for Hanukkah? I have a five year old daughter and I didn’t grow up in a house that decorated for the holidays. But she LOVES that kind of thing and I’d like to make the holiday season extra special and bright for her.

Do any of you buy pretty candles or better gelt than the mesh bag stuff (which tastes terrible)? Do you do anything special other than make latkes a night or two or buy jelly donuts?

Obviously not a super observant household here. I’m just a single mom trying to make a little girl happy!
