Halachah of cremation during the pandemic

I have been agonizing over this. A family member died April 22, 14 days ago, in a small west coast town. There is no way to transport the body to the family burial plot on the east coast during this shutdown, and I am dealing with this from 5 states away. There won’t be a funeral or memorial, and the funeral home has put pressure on to cremate. Is there a halachic ruling to allow cremation during a national emergency of this sort?
