Some guy called me a “hot Jew girl” on the bus ride home. I told him that if he wanted to do well with ‘chosen gals’ he should try saying “I find Jewish women attractive” instead. I also explained that this change in phrasing would be unlikely to fool anyone- “but at least they won’t think that you are entirely without class”.
His face went funny.
I got off at the next stop.
