I apologize in advance if I say something silly, I am not very familiar with Jewish customs.
My brother-in-law recently lost his grandfather who he was incredibly close with. His grandfather raised him from a very young age and was his father figure until his death.
As expected, my brother-in-law is taking it extremely hard as this was one of the only family members he was close with.
Burial was yesterday and I wanted to do something nice for him however I am unsure of what is appropriate.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
