Genesis question :)

Hi, when Gd created the world according to genesis, he created animals then man. Do we have any clues or rabbinical commentary on what animal was first? Do we have any additional text on how these animals came to be? As baby’s or full adults etc? Also, is there meaning as to why Gd created animals before humans? Sorry if this doesn’t make much sense but thought I’d ask! Thank you
