Hello I am not educated in Judaism so my apologies if my questions appear strange or misinformed.
I recently became aware that letters have religious significance in Judaism and are even said to hold some creative power in Kabbalah.
When I found this out it immediately reminded me of the Muqatta’at in the Quran: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Muqatta%CA%BFat
How exactly do the letters have religious significance in your faith? Does God create the world by speaking? Does he do so at certain times or are the words of God constantly being spoken and bringing the world into being?
What is a prophet in Judaism and how do they receive the word of God in your conception? Does a prophet need to be able to understand Hebrew? Can prophets see and understand the code of creation?
Moreover, are any letters said to be missing from the world? Can man create by harnessing the power of these letters?
