In the words of Shakespeare, “A coward dies a thousand times before his death, but the valiant taste of death but once. It seems to me most strange that men should fear, seeing that death, a necessary end, will come when it will come” (Julius Caesar).
I’m not a courageous person, but my love of the Jewish people, of my fellow brothers and sisters, and every one of you in this sub is to me, my brother and sister, is so overwhelming, that I will, I WOULD rather die than accept the dish served by these Nazi fucks. The world may be experiencing transient anti semitism as it does from time to time, but I refuse to accept this meal.
Courage isn’t just anger and violence, and it’s not just fearlessness. It’s love for something so great and rejection of something so horrid, that you accept the outcome either way, but you stay your course.
Wear your Magen David and Hamsa, debate anti Israel talking points, show people how a good Jew puts light into the world, day by day. Show both righteous behavior, but also a refusal to be ordered.
No one will stand for us, but ourselves. Don’t forget who you are, and where you came from. I apologize for nothing, least of which for being a proud Jew.
