On Saturday I went digging into ancestry type websites, finding most of the info on my great grandmother to be very incorrect. I figured her and her family had fled Poland because of WW2 and the invasions, and that was the reason why most of the info was probably wrong.
On Sunday, I spoke with my mom, who then spoke with my nana and she was a wealth of knowledge. She ended up telling me their whole family was actually Jewish (which I had never known) and when they fled they ended up keeping it hush hush.
I’m just left kinda… confused. Because my nana and mom have known this info my whole life, I’m 29 and literally just found out.
