Quick explanation of what shomer negiah is: Someone who refrains from touching the opposite gender until they are married to the person. (wiki article explaining it more.)
I’ve been wondering this question for a while. For me personally, I don’t like touching anyone, even friends. Hugs, handshakes, whatever it is, I’m not too keen on it. (Of course, my parents are an exception, but even with them, I don’t like hugging for too long.)
And that’s been fine, for now. I’m not married yet.
But how does everyone go from “shomer negiah, not touching at all” to “trying to have a baby together” (especially the people who don’t like touching in general)? How does that work?
