First time in a synagogue, should I wear a kippah?

I’m planning on attending a Shabbat service for the first time in my life. I’m not Jewish, but I’m heavily leaning twords converting, but I’m still on the fence. I’m a woman, and I know typically only men do that. I’m going to a Reform Synagogue, so would this be acceptable? Also, can the kippah fabric have patterns of the local sports team?
