Hey all! I’m in Scotland. Bit anxious as first Rosh ha’Shanah and Yom Kippur coming up (I’m in the Exploring Judaism class) and I have no idea how to prepare for it! Are there any special items I need or recipes to make? I’m also diabetic so worried about fasting and the sugar content in honey etc. I would speak to my Rabbi but as it’s been Zoom only and he’s a very busy man, I feel at times he’s not that interested – he’s ignored several of my emails and requests for catch ups and guidance on the stages of the Exploring Judaism process.
Whilst we’re at it – is there any good advice on how to feel more Jewish and incorporate the practice and culture more into my daily life?
