Experiences as being gay in the conservative movement?

I was raised a reform Jew, and as a result I never had any issues with my sexuality (gay). But i’ve been wanting to become more Jewish since i’ve grown up. At the moment I’m doing a summer work/yeshiva program with an orthodox organization, and being more religious is just extremely appealing to me. But ofc I can’t expect to go into the orthodox movement and have my sexual orientation respected and be able to marriage and everything.

But the conservative movement does recognize gay marriage (though I understand its some what limited?) and is not explicitly “anti-lgbt.” But also much closer to traditional judaism than reform judaism is.

Does anyone here have any experience as being gay and in the conservative movement? Is my understanding basically correct?
