There was an incident of vandalism on a public channukah display in a city adjacent to mine. My city is more progressive but the surrpunding community and state is steeped in white supremacy and I’ve faced discrimination for being openly Jewish.
I’ve been contemplating buying myself some judaica to wear and becoming more vocal in the non-jewish communities I’m involved in to help build allyship(sp?) and bring awareness and reform to certain systems.
Please, I need encouragement to be a proud and open Jew in my community.
