My grandmother used to make a “Chicken with Water” soup, and I have heard it called what sounds like “Ein Ga Dem Ka”. I don’t know how to spell it, just pronunciation. It could be Yiddish, German, or Hebrew, I’m not sure.
Have any of you ever heard of this name for a basic chicken soup recipe? It’s your standard chicken, potatoes, onion, carrots, bay leaf… cooked in water… apparently my uncle used to make it with orange juice??
Has anyone ever heard of this recipe or how to spell it?? Thanks!
