Eating healthy during Jewish holidays

To anyone who struggles with eating healthy or overeating: any advice for getting through Jewish holiday season next month? (Rosh Hashanah / sukkot / shemini / simchat torah)

Given our culture feels so food centric and there are multiple huge meals, I usually find myself eating way too much food, gaining weight, and generally feeling bad about myself. And it’s not like during a normal day where you can distract yourself or do other things, as part of the social experience is sitting down with others at these multi course meals for hours…
