For a bit of context, I come from a Jewish family, but we were never practicing. Recently I’ve started to study and practice more, however I’m still quite new to this. So next month the son of a friend of my mom is gonna have his bar mitzvah, and I was invited to help dress the Torah, rly cool, I’m rly happy about it, buuuut, I’ve got no idea what it mean, what I’m g9nna be doing or what should I dress… I mean, obviously wear the kippah. I hoped that maybe yall could give me a few tips?
