Donation for tefillin repair

I took my grandfather’s tefillin that were passed to me to my local Chabad for repair. They didn’t give me any cost or anything, but I feel like I should make a donation or something. They had to send it to NY for repair and I live in the Midwest. What would an appropriate donation be? I’m told the leather wrappings were replace, the parchment inspected and some protectant seal applied (If I remember correctly, not 100% sure).
