What is the position on having a dog? I have heard that it is looked on negatively and as being unclean by some. And that Jewish homes should not include them. I have had a dog before, and lost her. She was nearly 15 years old. Back then I never observed anything, and I am slowly observing more now, and wonder if I can have another dog, which is my heart’s wish to have. Thanks
