Does your (non Yiddish-speaking) family ever invent Yiddish words?

My American Jewish family often creates portmanteaus of Yiddish words or makes up completely fake but Yiddish-sounding words (ex: “chotch” meaning a slow driver on the road — I’m unable to find any actual Yiddish origins here). It gets to the point that not even other Jews have an inkling as to what we’re talking about lol. Still, these words are part of our family lexicon.

I’m curious — do other people’s families play with Yiddish too? Could you share any examples? I’m compiling some for a web story. 🙂 Thanks!
