To what extent is antisemitism in North America is due to xenophobia? Many non-Jews I meet are amazed when I explain some of the basics of Judaism.
Is it at all possible that what drives a significant amount of antisemitism nowadays boils down to ignorance that later becomes fear and eventually discrimination?
I know it’s not the only reason, but maybe learning more about Judaism could make some of them less afraid and, consequently, less hateful?
