Does the Torah validate the existence of Israel?

I’m not Jewish but I figured questions were ok so I guess I’ll try here. Someone on the internet says that the First Testament does validate the claim to the land Israel is on, but the Torah (in some way) doesn’t validate that claim. Apparently it’s the reason why many Orthodox Jews are against the creation of Israel (Also unsure)?

I know literally nothing about the Torah so I figured this would be the place to ask
