Does someone know this chant?

I recently watched Juraj Herz’s film “The Cremator” (Spalovac Mrtvol) and in one scene a cantor sang an incredibly beautiful and sad chant at a Jewish celebration. Does anyone know the name of it or was it made up for the film? And if not, maybe someone also knows the text?
