Does God "listen" to Jews more than other people because they are supposedly chosen?

So, I have a Jewish friend, and whenever he prays, God seems to answer his prayers – not all the time, but a lot of the time. He doesn’t pray for big things like a fancy car or a raise at his job. Instead, he prays for small things, like to find his car keys in the next half hour or his dog not to get sick.

I don’t want to presume anything about God – only God knows the truth.

That said, I did want to ask this sub – do Jews have greater “prayer-asking” abilities than people of other faiths, being the chosen people?

I am serious about this question. I’m starting to wonder if I should ask my friend to pray for me.
