Do you think the film ‘Life is Beautiful’ whitewashes the Holocaust?

Hey.

Any Jews here who have maybe had family lost from the Holocaust have an opinion on this film? I’ve seen it criticized for being to light hearted and not fully showing the horrors of the concentration camps and how it being a “comedy” was bad taste.
